Technical Specifications
Contractor shall submit herbicide spray program and furnish MSDS for products proposed to use.
Vegetation is defined as tall growing weeds and weedy grasses and vines.
Areas of ditches to receive herbicide treatment are further defined as being the bottom, sides and banks of the limits of the right-of-way. Buffer strips will be left to insure herbicide does not get off target. Drift control agent will be used on all applications.
All equipment used by the contractor for herbicide application must be certified and licensed by the Arkansas State Plant Board and must comply with all applicable State, Federal and OHSA Regulations. A permanent rotation amber caution light will be mounted on top of each piece of equipment that operates from public roads. Bidder should have at least three (3) roadside sprayers equipped with computerized spray systems, (1) 4WD tractor with sprayer and (2) ATV’s with sprayers.
Bidder must have Commercial Applicator’s Right-of-way license issued by Arkansas State Plant Board.
