A half-inch to an inch-and-a-half of rain fell in the area Monday and early Tuesday morning, according to the National Weather Service. Drought conditions are widespread across the state, and Arkansas is still well below average for rainfall. Proposed $12.2 million budget is $110,547 more for police, fire, sanitation.

Cabot council members agreed during Monday’s agenda meeting to send the proposed $12.2 million 2018 budget to the city council meeting on Monday, Dec. 18 for a vote. It is an increase of $110,547.
