A little girl’s wish came true

Cabot resident Makenzie Lenox, 8, and local Make-AWish granter Lorey Phillips. Makenzie has cystic fibrosis, a life-threatening genetic disorder that affects the lungs, pancreas and other organs. It causes lung infections and limits ability to breathe over time. Her wish was to have a beach volleyball court in her yard. Joining her were friends and family, Make-A-Wish donors and volunteers, members of 501 Volley in North Little Rock and members of the UCA Sugar Bears Beach Volleyball team.
